My ten year old loves this bed! He has plenty of room to do his work underneath, keep his figures in place, and has a cool little nook up top. It took about 3 hours to put together, and was relatively easy. The only con is it is not as sturdy as Id like. I dont feel like its going to crumble to the ground, but its pretty shaky when more than 100 pounds is up top. And I definitely made sure to tighten all the screws.
