My 5 year old LOVES this bed. I was able to put it together in 4 hours, would have been faster with another adult, I did use my 11 year old to help with some holding up while I put in screws. Came in 3 boxes, fairly quickly. And instructions are easy 5o follow. I did use a power drill, otherwise it would have taken much longer. Very sturdy bed. However the wooden slats to hold up the mattress are not as strong as Id like so I will replace those with some from home depot. He loves the little fort he has made underneath.
