We have had this bunk for a few years now and it still stands like new. With three kids taking it to task, I am amazed that it has held up. My oldest sleeps on the top bunk and my only complaint is that it makes a lot of noise when she gets in and out or moves a lot (and the ladders are on the sides so keeping the area clear is a constant battle). My 6 year old uses the bottom bunk as a bed and playroom, countless wars and dramas have been staged there. One kid has outgrown bunk beds (really she just hates sharing with her siblings).
