The box was ripped and damaged when received, but the chair itself was not damaged. There were markings at the top of the chair, looked like makeup and pen, maybe chair was already used? I was able to remove the stains with water and a cloth. Very easy to assemble and sturdy. The seat itself is pretty comfortable too. It looks more pink in the picture online but in real life its more of a purple color, which I was okay with, just not the color I was expecting.
