Pretty good for the price. Looks good, feels sturdy, and resulted in a happy kid. Not hard to set up, but time consuming. One person can do most of it, but you’ll want some help at a few points. Get hex key drill bits if you don’t have them, or you’ll regret it — there are about 50 bolts with hex heads, alongside 35 or so screws.
The side rail on the ladder side is a little flimsier than I’d like. I’m going to replace the screws on the vertical bar in the middle of that rail with slightly longer ones — the screws popped out when I put the mattress on. Think about where you place the bed — putting on sheets is frustrating if one side is against the wall!
There are unattractive warning labels covering one end of the top bunk. And the little stickers that tell you which part is which will leave adhesive residue when you pull them off. Annoying.
Happy with it
