We have had this bed for over six months. It was a somewhat long assembly, but not difficult. The frame and supports are made of a solid material. The supports were not hard to snap into place. The drawers are plastic- they have some give, have support bars, are large, and hold a good amount of weight. Make sure to pay close attention to the instructions when assembling them! We love that they roll (nicely on carpet) and lock into place.
The color is paler than expected, but we were looking more at price points than color. It is not a deep green or even pool table felt green. It is in the sea foam green family. All in all, it is durable and does its job. We like the fact that we did not need a box spring too.
