It looks smaller than what it looks like, so if you were worried on the height of the headboard, don't be. It's shorter than what I thought. One thing I will say is if you do wish to put it together yourself, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. There were parts in corners where it gave specific instructions, but it all makes sense later on.
The bed is great and I looooove the storage space. Especially if you wish to keep bed things seperate from clothes. The drawers lock in place so if you're worried about younger children managing it, that's one less worry off your list.
