We've had these bunk beds for our 3 and 4 year old for 8 months. The girls LOVE them.
I (mom) put each bed together by myself. The only help I required was stacking them. All parts were labeled and the instructions were fairly easy to read.
We've used them both ways, stacked and stand-alone. They're more sturdy than I thought they'd be. Both my husband and I have laid on each bed with the girls and they've held up very well. Were not small people each weighing at 200 lbs. I believe recommended weight was 150 lbs. Ive never crawled up on the top bunk, but have laid on both beds while they were separated. They both have some wiggle, but nothing to be overly concerned about. Ive moved them around the room several times without incident (i re-arrange furniture alot).
I read several reviews before I purchased. In the end I bought these with the mentality, It is what it is. It'll do for now. They've surpassed the expectations i had, and would purchase again.
