The bed is well made. The bed took about 4 hours to put together, working alone. For tools, they provide you the wrench and you need a screwdriver for the mattress holder and the guard rails. The installation would have been much faster with two people. Each bag of screws is labeled and the instructions were easy to follow. The only time I needed a second person was to lift the 2nd bed on top of the first.
The quality of the pink paint is great, no scratches depsite thr boxs being beaten up upon delivery.
