The good news is that I really like this bunk bed. I bought it in white. The bed is made from good sturdy hardwood. Rubberwood is great for furniture. The bed also looks very nice and seems to hold up well over all. We have had it now for about 2 years.
The bad news is that when I was putting it together it was missing one bolt that holds the bunk to the frame. I couldn't find a way to contact the company so I let it go since the bunk still held together with the other bolts (it has 2 bolts on each corner). Recently I became concerned because my daughter is getting heavier, so I went to several hardware stores looking for the correct bolt. It's in an odd size so no one has it.
The only other problem is that when screwing in the support slats that hold up the bed some of the wood on the bed cracked and a piece broke off. I had to use wood glue. If I were to do it again I would drill holes first so they wouldn't crack.
So overall a great bed!
