We purchased the navy blue stools. They are not difficult to assemble and the completed product is lovely. The color is dark, but still reads blue. The stools are light and easy to move. Aside from the very nice appearance, I believe the comfort of these seats is most important in assessing them. I am planning to purchase two more soon.
