I give the instruction manual is a 9/10. If I wrote it it would have been 10/10. Waaaaay better than most manual.
There are extra assemble parts included. The parts are separately carded for the trundle and for the bed. The flat washers are not actually flat. They are curved so be sure when you install them that the curve matches the curve of the frame.
Some hints:
When doing the bed, leave all the bolts finger tight until you have installed the slat spacers THEN tighten the bolts.
Do a rough guess for the centering of the slat rings and . Go back and measure and figure the center and just tap them to whatever center you want. Mine was 20/3/8from the outside. Takes less than 5 minutes.
After you have assembled the trundle perimeter finger tight, stand it up on the narrow end to install the and spacers to the midway point. Flip it over and do the other end. This way you are standing. As with the bed, install all the slat spacers and center them THEN lay it down on the floor THEN tighten the bolts.
When inserting the plastic locks for the , insert one end then push on the other end. They go in much easier. If you insert one end then press in the middle, it is more difficult and you will also break some of the locking tabs.
You could probably get away with a 9mattress on the trundle.
On the bed, it is about 8to the top of the curved hoops. If you go taller, it may look out of proportion.
I used a quart freezer bag and placed a grommet in the corner and placed all the extra parts and a card with the name and model and etc info and twist/tied it to the frame where it is hidden from view.
Great frame
