Its sturdywhile its in place. Any time I wanted to rearrange I felt like it was gona snap unless I moved it just right or got help from someone. You cannot scoot this frame along the floor. It has to be completely picked up or tipped onto the headboard. Also, I never could get the last screw put into the wing of the headboard but that didnt affect anything unless youre ocd like I am. Otherwise, it looked great and is super sturdy. Ive got a a heavy plush mattress that it held without any issues.
