I read in other reviews that the packaging was amazing, but actually, Id say it was pretty much like every other assemble-yourself furniture out there. The labels for the hardware were just thrown together into the bags with them, with multiple types of pieces in a single bag, making it hard to find the proper nut, bolt, screw, etc. I never found the screws supposedly included with the slats. The instructions consist of diagrams and no descriptive text so several times I realized I had screwed a left-side piece onto the right or vice versa and hard to disassemble, much to No. 5s dismay. I think it took about 5 hours altogether.
Once assembled the bed is a bit wobbly but I believe suitable for children or small adults. I used it for my wifes family, who are 5 1 or less.
Packaging was just okay.
