For the money it’s hard to beat. Costs were clearly cut on the instructions. Despite warnings that I saw from other reviewers, I still messed up with initial alignment of the opening for the ladder. I was able to double back and fix my error. It was a pain to build but the result is fairly sturdy. Definitely a 2 person job. I’ve assembled several pieces from ikea that recommend 2 people, all by my lonesome, without issue. I needed to call for reinforcements on this one within the first hour (of a 2.5 hour assembly). One other thing to note... slats for the beds to rest on are sturdy but thin so a memory foam (squishy) mattress will not work with these. Mattress needs some structure. Like ikea it’s gonna get weaker each time you disassemble/reassemble. That said this is just getting us through the bunk bed experimentation phase and didn’t break the bank.
Decent Bunk
