I bought this bed with the intentions of having a more minimalist look to my room. I figured I could get rid of the need for dressers and keep it all compact. To be honest there isnt a crazy amount of space and its definitely a childrens bed. I plan on getting a new frame and giving away this one. I reinforced with extra wood from homedepot and laid flat plywood under the mattress for extra support due to the mixed reviews on it and its very sturdy. Not what I was expecting but Im not mad just more of a childrens bed
