I like how it is much easier to build than a bunk bed and much sturdier than a metal bunk bed. It also makes the room look more spacious. This was also the only trundle i could find that would fit a standard twin mattress, all other trundles only fit a 6' inch mattress, i think we went with a 8' for my daughter and she sleeps very comfortable.
