My husband said it was easy to assemble. Instructions are clear. One piece (an wooden accent piece that are in the sides came in slightly damaged) but is not noticeable at all once assembled. Overall, Im. Wry happy with this purchase. I needed something new for this space in my living room that had storage and also wasnt so big that it swallowed the space and made it seem smaller in the living room area.
