Overall a good buy. The metal tubes that go in the posts to hold the top in place are hollow, didnt care much for that, didnt seam very strong, but havent had any problems. Couldnt find a bunk bed with higher rails on the top so got an add on rail, just for safety. A lot of screws to put in, so get a power tool, and two or three people to help put the top on, its not light. The ladder can be slippery, especially if your kids have socks on, so I would find some Anti Slip Tape to put on them.
