I was afraid to purchase based on the reviews but this chair is quite nice for the price. It was about a 5 minute assembly. 2 pieces in the box and 4 legs that screw in. It is easy to recline in and close back up. Definitely great for small spaces. Im 53 and my legs reach the end so not sure how it would work for taller individuals. My leg rest stayed open without any problems. Its a nice pleather and doesnt look cheap. The material is soft and you sit on it and sink in a bit. I can see how its possible for it to tip if you recline to fast so need to sit slowly and press back easily. Im pleased.
Updated after 30 days of use: The chair still looks good but I noticed today that my butt cheeks are imprinted on the part where Ive been sitting all these days and also where my legs press against the front of the chair (Im fairly thin 52, 127 lbs). Im afraid to think what this will look like in a year (if it makes it that long). Cute chair but if youre looking for something that will last a long time, you need to spend more than $200 on this one. This is a short-term chair for short people.
1/23 - I just wanted to add that the chair does have a smell coming off of it. I am very sensitive to smells so it may not be anything. Its a pleather type of smell (kindof a cross between leather and artificial leather). I hope it wears off over time.
