My wife and I LOVED how easy these were to assemble and that theyre entirely welded except for the attachment of the wood seat to the frame. HOWEVER, we ordered two sets of two (to have four) for our breakfast bar, and the second set has a much darker stain and also has two large spots of dark stain. I saw someone else mentioned this in their review, and I thought it must just be a knot in the wood. Well, its not. My photos clearly show that these are just blobs of stain. I want to get a seat top replacement, but I dont see how to do that… so sadly I think one set of two stools will have to be returned and re-purchased. I hope for better luck with the second round, but if this happens again… well be done with this seller.
