Solid Construction. Doesnt recline very far. Seat cushion is firm and plushy. Bonded Leather quality is mid range.
I didnt purchase this through , but I do own it
The construction quality of this sub $300 leather office chair is better than any other chair Ive purchased in the last 10 years. Normally Ive bought the Office Depot $150-$200. The accents are wood instead of composite, and the base is heavy duty with both metal and wood construction.
This feels significantly more solid than chairs in the lower price range. The back connects to the seat via two methods: a steel L-plate, and bolts that secure the arms to the back and seat cushion via bolts. The recline degree is less than Id like, but this makes up for it.
There is also an adjustable lumbar setting, I havent made use of that yet.
I prefer the seating configuration of the chair Im replacing over this one. It reclined farther, and the quality of the leather was nicer than this one. That said, I had to purchase a chair with a higher weight rating, in the hopes that it will hold up better for the different sizes of people that frequent the chair besides myself. My last one didnt last two years, and the seat cushion was flat within a year.
Im expecting this one to hold up a bit better. Well see.
