It's a nice sturdy bunk bed for the money. It had one minor scratch, which is pretty impressive considering it is such a soft wood. Just be aware the max wieght for the top bunk is 165 pounds. I wiegh 170 and it held me fine. My only real complaint I have is the instructions should be more clear and as every other review said, make sure you set back atleast 3 hours for assembly.
