Packaged well. Nicely painted. Although it feels thin and cheap to me. It wasn't expensive, so that's good. But I'd pay more for better construction. I feel like it needs more slats to hold the memory foam mattress at a minimum. It's a bed for my 9 yr old nephew when he stays weekends, so it won't get a lot of use. But I'm already expecting it to break soon. ... and putting it together was pretty easy. You really just follow the pictures, and they do include a contact number if you have trouble. I wouldn't buy it again, but that doesn't mean it's a bad option if you're on a budget.
