Not as high of quality as Id hoped, nor as high of a seat level.
This is a nice looking chaise, just that it wouldve been more price-appropriate at about 60% of what I paid. Straight out of the box, there were finish flaws - scratches to the metal underneath, and places where it wasnt applied correctly. As another reviewer noted, the stitching is lacking. Ive used it 3 times (taking the cushions inside when not in use), and saw that theres already a 1.5 area where the seam has split. I was also hoping for this to be a taller chaise. I suppose its taller than some (Ive seen some that are just 10-11 from the ground), but its not what Id call a comfort height. The top of the seat edge is about 13 from the ground. The plastic support strips stretch down when weight is on them. Although the cushion is thick, sitting on it does flatten it somewhat, so instead of being 17 from the ground height, its closer to 14 in the middle, when trying to stand. With my knee injuries, this does make it harder to get up from than I was expecting, with a 17 height listed. The back reclines, but it might be hard for people to adjust while theyre sitting in the lounge. Once Im sitting in it and its adjusted, its fairly comfortable; I just cringe at the thought of having to struggle to stand back up.
