So far my cat (Bean) loves this tower and its wider than her old one so she fits great. For reference Bean is about 15lbs and 20 inches long. Its a lot more stable than the round one we previously had and isnt shaking as much when she hops on. I definitely recommend this for all the thick cat owners out there. Also, not sure if she will use the bottom platform but she does like the scratch posts on the side!
