I would not recommend this bed. I bought this bed for my 2 and 4 year old last year. The bed is no longer useable. The pieces under the mattress break very easily. It was also a pain to put together. The end pieces for the head and foot board kept falling out. It is a beautiful bed but do not expect it to last especially if you have active children.
