This is an attractive bed and was simple to assemble. It's been taken apart and moved once and is still sturdy. I do have several issues, however. The drawers have cardboard bottoms and will not take much bulk or weight, for
instance. But the flaw that would keep me from buying this again is that there is a gap between the bed and the headboard that is like a black hole that has swallowed many small objects over the years, from eyeglasses to cell phones. We actually bought a grabber thing to fish items out, but sometimes there is nothing for it but to pull the whole bed away from the free-standing headboard and reach down and get the wayward item. This can scratch the floor and is quite irritating. I like this bed, but the problems keep me from loving this bed. (I bought this bed years ago. I'm writing this review at 5 am after having to once again get out of the bed so my husband can fish out something that fell while he was trying to NOT wake me as he got ready for work. : (
