We purchased this bed toward the end of our remodel (so we needed to save a bit of money) and are extremely happy with the Prepac Sonoma Black Queen Platform Storage Bed. The bed came completely disassembled and there were no packaging issues. Assembly was much easier than we expected. We essentially laid everything out (to organize and to be sure that we received all the parts needed) and followed the VERY easy instructions. The only thing two things that we added were felt feet to the bottom of the frame to protect our wood floors and a type of foam tape between the frame and the slats (for extra security and noise buffer). Just be sure to pay close attention to detail when reading the manual and you will be fine! It took us a few hours to assemble!
