I want to love this futon. It is extremely firm, I mean hard like the ground firm. Was trying to save money and have now spent another $150 for a foam topper to use when I sleep, hoping it helps. When you sit on the couch, there is no sinking in at all, so it feels like you are sitting on top of the couch. Its hard to explain. I purchased this as my every day couch and bed. Maybe a futon is only meant for the spare bedroom for guests.
I did receive it 2 weeks earlier than estimated. It took me about an hour to put together myself. It is pretty, just not comfortable at all.
