Memory foam firm and comply. The sofa and chair are amazing and complemented each other. We thought we hadnt got our sofa arm rest sides and Called customer service. It is also 5 stars. He was very pleasant and polite even when I was not and was looking for model and manual. He explained that they are in sofa zipped under it. Would definitely recommend product and company service is great as well. Thanks
