no holes for the seat cushion this is the second time I have purchased this dinning set I chose the black and its brown and the first set had much better chairs but Artvan furniture store was so rude that I sent it back and ordered on I will have to paint it black and buy sturdy chairs not happy for that cause I love the look of the chair FYI you need a drill for the cushion as I said the chairs are way smaller than the one from Artvan though they did also sell bar height set maybe that was the inconsistency of chair height but the color is annoying I need Black not brown
