The box arrived torn to smitherines. UPS guy was holding some of the rungs when he delivered it. Weak cardboard and poor packaging. I was missing 1 rung but figured it would take a month of sundays to get it so I put the bed together as is and the end with the missing rung is the end thats up against the wall.
Specs says it holds 250lbs. it bows when my 115lb granddaughter gets on it. Im not so impressed with this bed. I have to get a sheet of plywood to put under the mattress so that I feel that my granddaughter will be safe and secure when shes in the bed.
Someday ill remember You get what you pay for. In this case, 149 was cheap and so is the bed.
Would I recommend this bed or the company that makes it to a friend? HECK NO!
