This bed was super easy for me to put together myself on a Saturday afternoon and took me about an hour and a half to do. I like how the instructions were clear and all the pieces were marked to make the whole process easier. Ive had this bed for about 8 months and over that time my sleep has been getting worse and Ive been waking up with more and more back pain over time. I kept thinking that it was either my mattress or my pillow, so I changed both of those but still my sleep didnt improve and neither did my back. It didnt occur to me until a week ago that it might possibly be the bed frame and took off the mattress to check out the slats on the frame that hold up the mattress. The slats on mine are incredibly soft and flexible and in no way supportive at all. I swapped my base out for boxsprings and it was a night and day difference compared to the platform. I wouldnt recommend this bed unless you are able to do some tweaks on it to make it more supportive.
