Its is a platform bed but the slots for the planks to fit are difficult to align during setting up. When I tuck my linen blanket underneath the mattress, the planks shifted, leaving the blanket draped into the drawer. One of the drawers is difficult to open and close, dont know what I did wrong since all the other 5 works smoothly. Overall its OK with the amount if money I paid as long as you can put the Bed together. I spent more than 8 hours with minimal help but again I am a 63 yrs old women so move slow and careful not to hurt myself.
