The covers and the foam insert are separate and are a bit of a challenge to get the foam into the covers. You should be ready to put the foam in the covers as soon as you take the foam out of the bag as it is flatter before it expands and is easier to fit it in. The cover is durable and well made and above all is VERY COMFORTABLE once its together
