I, a senior female, assembled it myself. The directions were easy to follow and the pieces were well marked. It even included a couple extra pieces of some of the hardware parts. I only had to have my husband help once and then help to move it to the office. FYI - if you have a kitchen island, assemble it there. It saved my back and knees!!!!!
It is very sturdy and I made sure I had the most heavy stuff in the bottom drawer. It wont let you open both drawers at the same time. It was well packed and arrived with no damage.
