The color is perfect for our front room! But Im not sure I would really call it denim though/To me its more teal, or peacock blue. I do like the firmness. I had read an earlier review that described that it was too firm and not comfortable, but my family finds it to be very comfortable. We find some couches to be overly soft and more difficult to find a comfortable sitting position. The frame work, legs and fabric seem to be of good quality, well made and sturdy.
