We recently bought this and have camped twice - once on the beach and once in a state park. I was not impressed with how it held up on a windy beach. We did have 15-20 MPH gust forecasted but it is rated at 35 so I thought wed be okay. My wife said it sounded like someone standing next to her waving a tarp all night long. The noise level was ridiculous from the rain fly. We considered removing the fly, but when I did the next morning, the tent immediately collapsed. It relies on the rain fly for structural support. Last night we camped at the state park with 0 wind and it was perfect. I chose this tent due to the amount of screening and airflow it will allow and it lived up to that expectation. Unfortunately, the first time we set this up we noticed one of the tent poles were already cracked and frayed. Also, where the tent poles slide through the sleeves, although not a lot is sleeved, some is hooked, it is still already about to tear. I anticipate returning this under warranty and am still undecided if we will repurchase. It is a good tent but I expected more from .
