These nightstands are an excellent value--style, sturdiness, and price. The price online on target was much better than the same item on or overstock, especially because of free shipping on the RED card. I love the clean-lined style, and the cubby is perfect to get books and clutter off the top but still within easy reach. The drawers are are not large as dresser drawers but they are decent. The construction is particle wood and MDF with veneers but feels very sturdy. We took our time constructing the nightstands so it took much longer than estimated in the detailed instruction booklet, but was a similar process to furniture. We had to contact the manufacturer about a couple missing pieces but that was a very convenient -- all online!! -- process and the missing pieces arrived within one week at no additional cost to us.
