I ve had this nightstand for 1 year now. I waited to write a review to see how it would hold up after a year of use.
First let me say that putting this thing together took me about 2 hours. I rarely have to assemble furniture so I took longer than most people. For a while I stupidly only used a screw driver. Then I relented and went to the garage and found the drill. Yeah, that helped speed things up considerably. So, people: use a drill when assembling this nightstand. Once assembled this thing was heavy! Thankfully I didn t have to move it very far.
The color is much better than what is depicted in the picture on . This photo makes it look cheap but it s really not. The drawers are deep and hold a lot of junk. I especially find the little cubbie very useful for my remotes, books, and glasses so that the top isn t clutter with too much stuff.
The only negative is that the plastic coating on the top has started to bubble and peel. This started about 6 months after purchase. This could have been my fault since I would sometimes forget to put a coaster under a drink. Even when I started using a coaster the coating continued to peel. It not too bad but it is definitely noticeable. Gentle use is probably best in order to make it last.
