Didn t know if I should order this without seeing it 1st. I read the description carefully which were detailed well, decided to try it~So very glad I did for it is beautiful, looks like I paid more than I did. It has a really smooth finish, light cherry wood. The drawers have the smooth open close~Love the opening on it for its a great place to keep my glasses book away from the top of it. Thinking abt buying the headboard too
