Assembly took 3 hours, my husband and I built it together. We read the reviews and were patient, which is the key! Instead of hurrying through we jammed out to music, and made an evening of assembling it. Bed looks aming! Even with a box springs on top.
ONE SUGGESTION
Since ours didnt come with the board spacers, we put 2 nails in each board for stability! No worries on jumping on and off the bed. We have 2 110 lb dogs and 2 kids and us that have been on the bed all at once and still strong, with family jumping on and off the bed playing ect, definitely with it! Plus the space it gave for storage!
