Well, I wont recommend this bed to anyone.
1.First of all basic safety issue. The ladder steps are very slippery ! The manufacturer could just add some anti slippery strips for the ladder, unfortunately he didnt.
2. Second, the bed is very unstable! When the kid on top of the bed, it moves so bad that the stuff falls down off the shelves and the desk.
Bottom line, Dont Waste Your Money!
Save your money and your kid.
