I have had this bed frame for about 2 months now and I love it. I am roughly 130 so not very heavy to test the full durability. I also sleep alone. My cat likes to scratch the ends, but so far I havent noticed significant damage. Material seems pretty durable. This sucker is HEAVY though, so plan to have a helper at least to move it. I did it all on my own an took maybe half hour or so to put it all together.
