You can tell that the designers put a lot of thought and care into making assembly as easy as possible. The package was pretty heavy, but thats to be expected of a sturdy bed. All the pieces fit into the headboard, so it shipped in just one box. It came with a ratchet tool, and took two people less than an hour to assemble. It was honestly fun to put together / all the pieces fit together effortlessly. My queen/size mattress fits on it perfectly, doesnt shift around, theres no squeaking at all, AND it looks great! Theres a good reason this is a five star product.
