Of course this is not a solid piece of quality wood furniture but it is an excellent value! The assembly involves a few more parts than you might expect but it as a lot going for it; excellent instructions, fittings are good quality, the machining is spot-on (making it easy to fit things together), entire kit is carefully packaged. Pour a glass of wine or your favorite brew, give yourself some room, then take a couple of hours and quietly put this thing together. Just like an adult wooden puzzle! All you'll need is a screwdriver. I have a light plastic/rubber mallet and found it handy to gently tap a few of the lock fittings in to place.
