Experienced put it together yourselfer says this product is a win!
Im the guy other family members ask to come over when they buy furniture they need to assemble. And Im giving this 5 stars. Heres why:
Packaged great- there are protective layers between each layer in the box to keep stuff from scratching - there were a few very minor finish inconsistencies, but not enough to warrant any sort of deduction. This is furniture in a box after all.
Pretty darn clear directions: when I started looking at directions a was likeoh, great, here we go as text was in a foreign language. You know what? It didnt matter . Great diagrams, all hardware and the wooden pieces.... all clearly marked. ( which there are a lot of pieces which could have made this a horrific experience but didnt)
Prep work: almost all the holes were PERFECTLY drilled. And any that werent were close enough not to matter
Quality : excepting that the back (which is made of two pieces and connected, but even that- the connection piece sits behind the centerline so is only visible in the in top section) and a little wobble with the bottoms of the drawers - again, not bad - this is put it together yourself furniture - the rigidity of the assembly after putting together is as tight as prebuilt furniture. I am amazed.
Hints - I believe there was only One piece that if Installed incorrectly would have shown raw wood (directions werent exactly clear on the center divider that supports the inner part of drawers on one side and shelf on other) but everything else, if you look at the diagrams for where to install hardware was very clear. Have a short handled screwdriver - there were a few cam locks and the center screw for the top that I couldnt use long handled screwdriver or screw gun.. have a screw gun - there are a lot of screws but I got this put together in less than an hour...just dont overtighten.
Summary - it looks great, is well built, easy to assemble, parts were clearly marked, and had a clear and make sense assembly path. I would not hesitate to buy this or other products from this manufacturer.
To the manufacturer, my only recommendations would be either finish that backside of that once piece of wood or in your directions reference the facing of that board, and also add some sort of caps or stick on discs to cover the 6 cams under the top and the little hole for the screw in the front center of the top. Except that you have put together an amazing product.
