Watching TV is great, it is the right height for the eyes, and the product itself came with very detailed instructions. It is not solid wood, but putting it together cautiously and without scratching will give you a very solid piece all together. I'm glad I purchased it. Use instructions as given, you shouldn't have problem putting it together.
