Quite nice considering the two digit price tag

These are nowhere near commercial quality, but I expect they will last for many years for my purpose: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, with the occasional use as guest chairs when Ive a full house. Assembly is very straightforward, with only 4 bolts (allen wrench included) and gravity doing the rest. IMPORTANT: When attaching the footrest/upper post to the seat bottom, slide the seat back as far as it will go (theres only about a quarter inch of play) and tighten it down. Otherwise the center of gravity (your butt) tends to tilt the seat forward, giving you (or at least me) the uncomfortable feeling that youre sliding out of the seat. The metal bits seem a little thin, but my 235 pounds was supported without a single hint of flex from the post or base. Even the footrest is sturdy, and it needs to be, because you have to put a fair amount of weight on it to get up into the chair at most heights. At maximum height (and again supporting 235 pounds) the base was sturdy and without flex or any feeling I was about to topple, even though I was intentionally trying to rock the chair. All in all, I believe it is a good value for the two digit price I paid, and would buy again if I needed more than a pair. Last thing of note: The packaging was well designed and protective, and NO STYROFOAM to make a mess everywhere.
